Best Buy Electronic Gaming Championship
Tournament Features Top Video Game Titles for Both PC and Console Gaming
Head-to-Head Competitions at Select Best Buy Stores in California

Gamers across the West Coast now have a chance to test their skills in a head-to-head tournament featuring both PC and Console gaming. The Best Buy Electronic Gaming Championship will offer contestants the opportunity to compete for prizes playing today’s top video game titles.
The competition begins Saturday, April 16 and runs every Saturday through Saturday, May 7 at select Best Buy stores in Southern California. Participants will compete for prizes including a $500 Best Buy Gift Card and a trip to the Best Buy Gaming Event in Los Angeles on Wed., May 18 during the world-renowned gaming trade expo.
Each of the gaming tournament sites will offer a variety of attractions including the chance to compete against a popular group of "girl gamers," the Frag Dolls. Contestants also can check out products, gaming demonstrations and PC mod clinics. Free refreshments will be provided during the events.
